WHO IS THE HEAVYMETAL_HIKER?

The HeavyMetal_Hiker, alternatively know as ScottishAndy or just Andy if you're really boring, is a 41 year old, tattooed, bearded dude from Glasgow, Scotland who's been living in Sweden since 2008. As it turns out, he has a love for rock/metal music AND a love for nature and hiking.... and thus The HeavyMetal_Hiker was born.

Andy has always had a love for videography and Photography though never had much talent for it. He's messed around with Instagram and YouTube but never really committed. When TikTok launched he found it to be an abhorrent concept and avoided it like the plague. During the End of the COVID outbreak he did find there was a way to use TikTok that didn't involve dancing or lip syncing to random audiobites. He put out a few videos but soon forgot about the whole thing. He discovered the app at the beginning of 2024 and started to actively use it to make videos about his hiking alongside some mildly entertaining random stuff. His big love was when he discovered TikTok live and the potential to bring some joy into fellow metalheads hearts and best of all interview and promote unsigned bands. This is a concept he hopes to port over to YouTube in a more structured and streamlined format.... So there you go... you're all caught up with the story so far 🤘🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😁
